Brake Disk Drawworks, Brake system
The brake disc is one of the core parts of the brake system, which is composed of brake pair with brake block. According to the structure, it is divided into three types: water-cooled, air-cooled and solid brake disc.
* Water-cooled brake disc is provided with a water-cooled passage inside, and an inlet and outlet are provided at the inner diameter of the brake disc; The outer diameter is provided with a water outlet, which is used to release the water in the channel to prevent the brake disc from freezing and cracking in cold climate; When working normally, the outlet should be sealed with screw plug. When the brake system is working, cooling circulating water is supplied to the brake disc to balance the heat generated by the friction of the brake pair.
* Air-cooled brake disc has natural ventilation inside, relying on natural ventilation and surface heat dissipation.
* Solid brake discs dissipate heat from the surface and are mainly used for workover rigs and small rigs.
