Product Overview

The IBOP (Inside Blowout Preventer) is a non-return check valve, also known as Gray Valve or BVR, designed as a back pressure valve for drill strings. Its primary function is to prevent uncontrolled well flow up the drill string during operations.

Operational Principle

During drill tool lifting operations, the IBOP's open position allows backflow to facilitate installation. In case of a blowout, the valve can be quickly closed using a relief rod to stop backflow. Surface pumps can then be used to discharge the IBOP and drill string, achieving blowout prevention through controlled fluid regulation and pump circulation.
